Wood for the winter

Here we are at the end of October and the mornings and nights are getting cooler and cooler. Winter is fast approaching, and dozens of families are thinking about what to do against

the months of frost that stand at the door ready to blow mercilessly. How will they be able to keep their children warm? Or will their grandparents/parents make it through this winter as well? You may think these are just stories. We wish it were so, but this is the harsh reality of thousands of families who are still dependent on the wood stove as their only source of heat. It's easy to press a button and the boiler starts to reach the degrees you set on the thermostat, and we are not to be condemned for this. It is a normality for people with a decent life, but let's look at it as a blessing, which these people on the edge of poverty do not have. How can you help them though? With God's help, we started the project "Wood for the winter" in which we want to help as many families as possible who have no possibility to procure their wood. A cubic meter of wood costs about 100 euros, so they need at least 2 cubic meters, which means about 200 euros, to be able to cut in the frosty months.
