We want to share with you some of the joy that the last group of children had this year at the Children's Joy Summer Camp.

The activities that were carried out: socialization, mutual knowledge, cooperation - activities that encourage tolerance and empathy.

The children went on hikes, they had bonfire, they visited Corvinilor Castle, and the Zoo.

The children took part in Bible lessons, they sang and prayed.

The lessons were adapted to the specific level of cognitive development and knowledge of Scripture. They showed their interest in the spiritual life and expressed their joy in taking part in the fellowship. The children learned how to search in the Bible, follow a text by reference, answer questions, and internalize godly behaviors. During the camp, the coordinators took the time to listen to the children's life stories. They were taken individually and given time to vent emotionally. Thus, the children were helped to understand some situations in their lives and to relate correctly to the trials they go through. In everything that was done, Christ was placed in the center, He was the One who led and guided the work in all respects and brought fruit to the salvation of the souls of the little ones.

In the following lines we want you to read some testimonies of children and the impact these days had on their lives:

"I liked that I stayed with Mrs. Otilia and that I gave myself the effort. I liked that we prayed in the evening and I also liked the meatballs soup." Diana

"I liked all the activities, very nice. I liked all the leaders, I liked the soup and the cooks made the food delicious. This time spent in the camp made me forget about boredom and technology and I felt that I got very close to God! And the songs here were very beautiful." Lavinia

“Dear camp, you made me forget about the stress at home and all the boredom. I enjoyed all of the activities and I especially enjoyed the meatballs soup. I would still like to come here because it makes me feel free and I can know God better. I liked all the leaders here. I made a lot of friends and the cooks and the food were very good." Valentina

“I loved that we did activities, that we went to the castle and the zoo and that we did programs. I would like to come again because I really liked it." Miriam

"I really liked this camp. All the activities we did were very nice and fun. I really enjoyed when we sang, when we made the campfire and ate marshmallows by the fire. I would come to this camp again because we had some very good leaders and we did very wonderful activities." Maria

These testimonies are encouraging knowing that they come from their small and sincere hearts.

We want to thank everyone involved, the volunteer team, those who supported us financially and everyone who contributed regardless of how they got involved. All be for the glory of God! May the Lord bless you and reward you immeasurably!
